Sam Ticknor is a Brooklyn-based visual artist. She studied fine art at Carnegie Mellon University (BFA '15) with a focus on drawing, printmaking, and animation. She transitioned to painting after moving to New York City in 2016. Her works have been exhibited in group shows and personal collections throughout the country. Rhapsody (on view at Usagi, May 1 to 31) is Sam’s first solo exhibition. It features paintings from an ongoing series which celebrates variety, intensity, and creativity.
