Tea & Water Pictures, in collaboration with Usagi NY, brings you a photography
exhibition with true soul and heart – sharing tales of compassion and the human
condition from different corners of the globe.
Images selected for this exhibition tell important stories, stretching far and wide
from the U.S. and Europe to Africa, Asia, and South America. They include a very personal
project about adult children with gay parents, glimpses at what it means to be at home in the wild and a coming of age ceremony for African warriors.
Compassion and the human condition are often at the heart of what our
photographers see and choose to document. Some of their images are deeply
personal, emotional and intimate: they show the unexpected, disarming, fragile and
vulnerable. But they also capture the brave and the bold, and the lightness of life
that resides so closely to suffering and distress.
